Måsholmstorget
Måsholmstorget is a square in Skärholmen behind a large shopping mall. Previously this was a lively square but when the shopping streets were assigned a roof and turned into a mall, the square served no other purpose than transportation between the mall and the parking garage. My goal was to attract by passers attention and to invite them to the center of the square. Here I have designed a mace-like structure which would attract their curiosity with its curved shapes and only partly viewable inside. This is a structure which serves the purpose of creating several resting positions in an otherwise busy area. The structure is open and closed at the same time.
